JetClock Air Streaming Device Setup

Install JetClock Air on Fire TV, Android TV, and other streaming devices

Welcome to JetClock Air

Thank you for purchasing JetClock Air! This guide covers installation on Fire TV, Android TV boxes, and other TV streaming devices.

Compatibility Check

1
Check if your device allows external apps

Your device is compatible if it:

  • Has a "Developer Options" or "Security" menu that allows Apps from Unknown Sources
  • Runs Android 7.0 to Android 10 (best compatibility)
  • Allows you to install APK files directly
2
Test before purchasing

Follow the steps further down the page to test installation:

  • If installation completes and the app opens showing a QR code, your device works perfectly
  • If you cannot install the app at all, your device has restrictions that prevent JetClock Air from working

⚠️

Streaming devices vary in their display timeout and sleep settings. Some devices may turn off the display after 30 minutes, while others can stay on indefinitely. We recommend downloading and testing the app before purchasing to ensure your device can keep the display on for your desired duration. Check your device's screensaver and sleep settings to maximise display time.

⚠️

Screen type matters: QLED, LED and LCD screens are perfect for always-on use with JetClock Air. OLED screens are not ideal for ambient displays - they will develop burn-in if used for extended periods with static content. If you have an OLED TV, we strongly recommend using JetClock Air only occasionally or with aggressive sleep scheduling (e.g., only 2-3 hours per day). For always-on use, stick to non-OLED displays.
