Welcome to JetClock, a trading name of OR Innovation Limited. By purchasing and using any JetClock product you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our products.
Products
JetClock offers three products:
- JetClock Desk - a self-assembly hardware kit with built-in display
- JetClock Zero - a plug and play hardware device connecting to any HDMI screen
- JetClock Air - a one-time purchase Android application
These terms apply to all three products unless otherwise stated.
Purchase and Delivery
- Orders: All orders must be placed through our online ordering system or authorised retailers.
- Payment: Payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept various forms of payment as specified on our website.
- Delivery: Delivery times for hardware products may vary based on location and availability.
- Digital Products: JetClock Air is delivered as a downloadable APK file. A download link will be provided following purchase. No physical delivery applies.
- Kit Assembly: JetClock Desk is provided as a self-assembly kit. The buyer is responsible for proper assembly according to the provided instructions.
Product Use
- Intended Use: JetClock products are designed for aircraft detection and flight information display for personal, educational and hobbyist use only.
- Setup: Initial setup requires a WiFi connection and location permissions for optimal aircraft detection.
- Accuracy: Flight information accuracy depends on aircraft transponder data and may vary. JetClock should not be used for safety-critical applications.
Data Services
JetClock hardware and JetClock Air rely on OR Innovation Limited's data services to provide aircraft detection, weather, moon and sky data, ISS tracking and related features. These services require an active internet connection.
Whilst we intend to maintain these services indefinitely, OR Innovation Limited does not guarantee the perpetual availability of data services. In the event that data services are to be discontinued we will provide a minimum of 90 days notice via email and on our website. We will endeavour to provide a fair resolution to recent purchasers where possible.
A one-time purchase of JetClock Air grants a licence to use the application software. It does not guarantee the indefinite provision of backend data services which are required for full functionality.
JetClock Air - Licence
Upon purchase of JetClock Air you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the application on Android devices within your household.
JetClock Air is delivered as an APK file for direct installation on compatible Android devices. Installation requires enabling installation from unknown sources on your device.
We recommend verifying device compatibility before purchase. A compatibility guide is available at jetclock.io/air. Refunds for JetClock Air are subject to our refund policy.
Updates to JetClock Air are included with your purchase and will be made available via jetclock.io.
Warranty and Support
- Limited Warranty: JetClock Desk and Zero come with a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects for one year from purchase.
- JetClock Air: As a digital product JetClock Air does not carry a hardware warranty. If the application fails to install or function on a compatible device please contact us at [email protected].
- Technical Support: We provide technical support for setup, configuration and troubleshooting via email and online resources.
Returns and Refunds
- Hardware Products: JetClock Desk and Zero can be returned within 30 days of purchase in original condition for a full refund. Please see our full Refund Policy at jetclock.io/about/refund.
- Digital Products: As JetClock Air is a digital download, refunds are not available once the APK has been downloaded and the licence activated, except where the product fails to function on a compatible device. Please check compatibility before purchasing.
- Defective Products: Defective hardware products will be replaced or refunded at no cost to the customer.
Data and Privacy
- Data Collection: JetClock may collect location and usage data to provide aircraft detection and related services.
- Privacy: Your privacy is important to us. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
Intellectual Property
- Software: The JetClock software, firmware and application are proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws.
- Usage Rights: You may use the software solely for operating your JetClock product for personal use within your household. You may not distribute, reverse engineer, modify or resell the software.
Limitation of Liability
- General: OR Innovation Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of JetClock products or services.
- Accuracy: Flight information accuracy depends on aircraft transponder data and may vary. JetClock should not be used for safety-critical, navigation or commercial aviation purposes.
- Service Availability: OR Innovation Limited is not liable for any loss arising from temporary or permanent interruption of data services, subject to our obligations under these terms.
Disclaimer
JetClock products are intended for informational, educational and hobbyist purposes only. They must not be used for navigation, safety, or commercial aviation purposes.
Amendments to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of JetClock products following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
